Yvette or "Veta" as we affectionately call her, came to us with Yfke from the Von Borsel Friesians in Florida.  Dale and I were looking for just one Friesian filly to fulfill his dream to own a Friesian mare to drive his doctors buggy.  Well when we found out we could ship two fillies along with our Morgan filly in Texas, for a great deal - we had to have her.  From the moment I saw her and how photogenic and beautiful, - the perfect fantasy horse - I was hooked. I have always been a sucker for a pretty face and that she had in spades, ha!  She is by the stunning stallion Romeo de Roza  back to Mark 232 & the lovely Ster mare Femke vom Weimannsfeld by Teunis and back to Hearke  254 twice and other greats via her dams dam.  Some have called Veta a "half-breed" but she is pure Friesian with a German  FPZV/FHANA dual  registered sire and a Dutch FHANA registered dam.  The best of both that meld into a gorgeous, showy, moving, dream girl!  Thanks Lydia for letting her into our lives.
