"Lizzy" is Jewel's
(sadly now deceased), first foal, born in 2003. She has enough white on
her face to qualify her for regular registration. Two blue eyes and that
lovely black hair, was a natural to name her after Elizabeth Taylor! She
has been the sweetest gal from the very beginning and is typical of the
legendary paint temperament. She recently started her saddle training and
we were pleased when the trainer said that she didn't need more than the 60 days,
just miles. We have bred her to a fine homozygous tobiano paint,
Midway
Jet Pal, a performance stallion in Montana and expect a colorful foal
May of 2007. She is especially dear to us because we lost her dam, Jewel,
in a tragic fluke of an accident in 2004;, just after foaling Liz's brother,
Samson. Everyone who sees her
wants her nbuy she is not for sale. Possibly her future offspring will be
for sale.
UPDATE! Jet is for sale, and will make a winning halter and performance stallion in APHA or Pinto Registry. He is entered in the APHA BREEDERS TRUST! He is already "cowy". He has herded the other yearlings around as if they were steers. SOLD!
