 How his name came about.  Dale exclaimed, "He looks like he is in his pajamas" so we called him "PJ" for short.  He looked like a Picasso painting to our friend Arieca's mom, and we could definitely see it too.  Next there is the Marvelous prefix that is a must for such an outstanding foal.  Thank you Ellie Mason for letting us use it.   PJ's dam is MEMC Fantasia, Fanta for short.  She is a granddaughter of our senior stallion's dam, HRH Fancy and out of MEMC Lickity Split, Fancy's only daughter.  Fanta  is by the exciting splash buckskin, MEMC Crown Royal.  We are  so fortunate to have this sweet spunky mare.   In 2010, when we found out that Marvelous Intrigue was on his journey home from a stay in Canada and Idaho, we convinced Ellie to let him lay over here in WA long enough to breed our MEMC Sahara Gold.  Well we could not leave it at that, and ended up breeding 3 mares including Fanta for her first foal.  This boy is spectacular in both color conformation and character.  We look forward to watching him develop.  Maybe someday there will be a color class or two at the Morgan shows for our rare fellows!
