We had been wishing for a creme or cremello, filly from our Chili - Sarah cross - but happily got the dark palomino colt, Comet instead.  We contacted several farms that had lovely filly/mare offerings and finally after much consideration and conversation, happily chose Blaui from Baptiste Lake Morgans in Alberta, Canada.  Larry and Marg Armfelt are wonderful Morgan folks.  They care very much who gets their lovely family-raised horses and we feel privileged, indeed to have them trust us with Blaui!  We got to meet Larry when he brought Blaui to us from Canada.  The Armfelt's had a Swedish visitor the year Blaui was born 2005 and she got to name her "Blaui Auge" which is Swedish for "Blue Eyes".  Blaui has the most perfect temperament, with lots of affection and gentle spirit.  She is a lovely light creme color almost white, with expressive blue eyes.  She always has a friendly whinny when she sees us coming toward her and walks up for a pat and scratch.  She has smooth flowing lines, with a long graceful stride and power to spare.   Her full brother is the handsome stallion Baptiste Newman Bluet C, "Paul" at Prairie Hills Morgans in ND.  Thanks again Marg and Larry for letting Blaui into our hearts.
