"Cocoa"

 In 2005, we were searching for a dilute black or smokey black and decided that we just had to have this lovely lady, when we saw her foal photo on MEMC's website!  Once she was weaned, she was loaded up in her private stall and shipped to Washington from Texas.  It was a hot, hot, hot summer in Texas and when she arrived we were surprised at her color.  She looked more like chocolate so Cocoa became her name.  She is full of spirit and playfulness, acting more like the boys than the fillies and certainly has a mind of her own.  Yet she is so willing to come when called to get some attention!  She has spent the winter stalled at night, due to her age and the sever cold weather we had this year, but is now getting ready to head out to the big pasture with the other girls.  We love her and are so glad Jennifer Monroe let us bring her to Washington.
