Here is Sara's first filly!  Luna was born May 8, 2009 at 8AM.  She weighed in at 94 pounds and was 39" tall.   She is a buckskin, according  to  the Davis color report.  Her sire is our new,  young black stallion, Sable Moonshine.  He brings cute tippy ears and shorter coupling, his ermine spotted fetlocks and a super temperament.  We were looking to breed to  a nice complementary black stallion  and ended up bringing  this handsome Immortal Command, Whispering High Beam & Equinox Eclipse boy home!  Everyone who sees him says he reminds them of the horse in the Currier and Ives art work.  We are excited about this girl and for now, she is retained.  I have always wanted to name Sara's filly Savannah, but since Luna is so dark, we will save that for a palomino filly!  Luna is wearing the saddle and bridle and getting ready for a short ride or two late summer.  She is for sale!
