After looking at a great many buckskins, we decided on this sweet girl.  Her dad is the impressive and handsome NVS Midus.   Her dam, lovingly called "Munchie" was the perfect size we were looking for to suit Dale for riding.  Sweets fit the bill and then some!  She lives up to her name and is a big favorite at our ranch with every visitor.  She allows youngsters to ride and handle her and yet is spirited too.  At nearly five now, she is 16hh and has the most lovely expression.  We decided to breed her to a stallion with less size and more refinement than she and chose FCF Esprit de Lark.  He is standing in Virginia for the 2009 season at Queen Hive Farm. There 2009 filly was born April 17th and is she ever  the best of both!  See photos below.  She may be for sale at weaning @ $3000.  We call her Candy Girl cause she is so sweet like her mom, but she is officially Dilettante De Esprit after our favorite Seattle chocolate.
