"Candy" was born April 17,2009.  She is out of our buckskin mare "Sweets" and by FCF Esprit De Lark.  She is the best of both! Her dam, Sweets, lives up to her name and is a big favorite at our ranch with every visitor.  She allows youngsters to ride and handle her and yet is spirited too.  At 16hh we decided to breed her to a stallion with less size and more refinement than she and chose the champion FCF Esprit de Lark.  He was standing in WA with Rendition Morgans at that time and is now standing in Virginia for the 2009 season at Queen Hive Farm.   Candy is as sweet as her mom and we registered her Dilettante De Esprit after Seattle's famous  decadent dark chocolate sweet treats. She has her sire's big eye and color.   Candy is now wearing the saddle and bridle with snaffle and is loving it!  She will be ready for a few short rides later this summer.  She is  for sale, asking $4500..
