Here is "Pauly" the first born of our lovely smoky black mare, MEMC Ladyhawke or affectionately called "Cocoa".  The sire is our black stallion, Sable Moonshine.  Pauly got his name because his new mom was very unsure about nursing him.  Oh, she liked him but was too sensitive to let him nurse.  Dr. Paula came to our aid with a calming medicine and after 4 hours, he got his first nutrition.   Cocoa had to be held and calmed for a full day before she would accept nursing by herself.  Once she got over the newness, she gave him the best of care and love.  His registered name is Tequila Moonshine, after his grandsire and sire.  This little boy is full of spunk and play and is for sale for $2000 .  By the way, he is DNA tested as a Smoky Black!
